Heisman

There has been controversy in the news about the fact that six Heisman voters have left Cam Newton off of their voting polls. The problem with doing that is that if he loses the race, how do you explain that. He has not been proven guilty of anything and his father is no the one who plays football.

I believe that the Heisman should be given to the most valuable player in the NCAA. Cam Newton is hands down the best player on the field. People cannot vote by what may happen, they have to vote by what they know.

Week 16

Indiana University Head coach Bill Lynch was fired on Monday even after winning the oaken Bucket game vs Purdue. They already had the conference planned regardless of the outcome of the game. Lynch took over the IU positions after the death of Terry Hoeppner. He was a class act guy who was a true players coach. The problem was that no matter the talent he could not get it done on the field.

I believe that Lynch should be given another chance where ever he goes. He may not be a head coach but a lot of staffs could certainly use him. He is the example of how coaches should behave in the NCAA. He did things the right way, making sure that all of his players put academics first.
