Throughout the past two weeks the allegations surrounding Auburn Heisman hopeful have been brewing. Kenny rodgers said that Miss. State would have had to pay Newton over 180K to attend their school. There has been nothing proven, however many people are starting to wonder whether he should even be in the Heisman talk. They do not want the same thing that happened to Rggie Bush.
I believe that until Cam Newton is proved ineligible i believe he should be given the benefit of doubt. He is the best player in the nation right now and he deserves the award. Voters should not be influenced by the talk. What if he does not win and all of the allegations were false. This would be even more of a crime.
I agree with you. We can not punish cam newton for something he did not do. He has not been proven of anything and until he is then he is innocent. He is the best player in the nation and he deserves to win the Heisman.
