Indiana University Head coach Bill Lynch was fired on Monday even after winning the oaken Bucket game vs Purdue. They already had the conference planned regardless of the outcome of the game. Lynch took over the IU positions after the death of Terry Hoeppner. He was a class act guy who was a true players coach. The problem was that no matter the talent he could not get it done on the field.
I believe that Lynch should be given another chance where ever he goes. He may not be a head coach but a lot of staffs could certainly use him. He is the example of how coaches should behave in the NCAA. He did things the right way, making sure that all of his players put academics first.
Bill Lynch is a good guy and he is a good coach. Maybe he is not a good head coach, but he could be good somewhere else. He could be a coordinator somewhere or even another head coach. Either way i agree with them firing him because they need to go in a different direction and work on winning games.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Andrew because he work hard and does what he can with the athletes he has. Even though he did not have the best athletes, he put them in the best position to succeed.
